Tuesday Class

November 19 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until 1 January, 2099

Perfect for both beginners and seasoned practitioners, our sessions are designed to deepen your understanding of European swordsmanship and related martial skills.

Our classes start at 7:00 PM with a structured first half focused on core skills, techniques, and drills based on historical treatises. In the second half, enjoy a more free-form practice, where you can apply what you’ve learned, spar with partners, or work on specific techniques of interest. This balance of instruction and free practice makes our classes engaging for all skill levels.

What We Cover:

  • Weapons Training: Swords, polearms, daggers, and hand-to-hand combat techniques.
  • Real-World Techniques: Learn from the historical masters, including Johannes Liechtenauer and Joachim Meyer, focusing on effectiveness over choreographed moves.
  • Inclusive Community: Train in a welcoming atmosphere where everyone, regardless of background or experience, can learn and grow.

Whether you’re looking to master the art of swordsmanship, boost your fitness, or become part of a supportive martial arts community, our weekly HEMA classes offer an immersive and rewarding experience.
